Diamond Cuts...............

....Still I remember, my mom had made kilos of these when I was at school.... at that time this was my favourite snack...... its a traditional South Indian dish...... and its very easy to make....

Ingredients:
  • Flour: 2 cups
  • Salt: 1 tbsp
  • Water: enough to make a dough
  • Egg: 1
  • Oil: for deep frying
Preparation:

Mix the flour, salt, beaten egg and enough water to make a soft dough....... make some small balls and roll out each ball into a small thin circle.... (like chappathi)..... cut these in a diagonal shape with a knife..... take a pan and pour oil..... put the cut diamonds in to the oil.... fry it till it turn to be golden brown colour.... we should always keep these in an air tight container.......... we can keep it more than 2 weeks...... for kids we can add sugar powder on the top of the hot diamond cuts..... it will give more sweety look.....
